There is nothing we enjoy more this week than the announcement made by Mercedes Benz which plans to give up in totally until 2015 to produce cars that operating on the basis of fossil fuels.

The project will evolve in three phases: the first is to increase the efficiency of engine combustion, the second provides is the development of high quality alternative fuels and finally focusing on fuel cell for zero emissions. Mercedes Benz is prepared to invest 7 billion pounds sterling until 2014 to achieve its goal.

Perhaps that the statement made by car constructor will attract after it a wave of ” I’ll do the same”, which is not in any case a bad thing. Now remains to see if 2015 is a realistic target, but strive to think so, Mercedes Benz, having already in the current fleet of cars versions with ecological functions.
