Toyota Motor Europe announced today that will make green over 3000 Toyota distributors from Europe , through the application of environmental standards for the premises which will be built , but also for those who already are available.

The first two centers of sustainable distribution will be organised in Sweden and France as examples of design and construction performed in accordance with environmental requirements.

These improvements aim at reducing CO2 emissions up to 12%, by reducing consumption of energy and water, which brings an economy of 10 million euros until 2013. Since 2009, Toyota Motor Europe will install

a total of 60 retailers in each year.

In Sweden, the seat of a Toyota distributor will be completely restaured and will have a roof with grass that will act as a natural cool system in the summer months. Also, Toyota distributor from La Rochelle, France, has installed solar panels on the roof of parking places, the panels that will generate up to 200000 kw each year.
