Top of the Most Polluting Cars

Fiat and Mini are the cars that have fewer carbon emissions with the average values of 138.2 g / km and respectively 139,6 g/km. These values are under the target of 140 g / km, which manufacturers from auto industry have set.
At the other extreme, that is among the most pollutants manufacturers are Porsche with 275.6 g / km and Land Rover with 249.2 g / km. Porsche has recorded increases of CO2 in the first half of 2008.
According to a study by British researchers, producers sales of carbon emissions over 200 g / km have decreased in the UK during June, January and June 2008.
In June, the first five manufacturers with seminficative CO2 emissions recorded decrease sales. Porsche and Jeep sales have reduced to half in June, while the Land Rover and Chrysler have descended to 30%.
As the automobile market decreased by 6.1%, the consumers interest for powerful polluting cars have dropped considerably.
