National Semiconductor Company Entered On The Renewable Energy Market

National Semiconductor Corp. is the latest company of technology which has entered on the renewable energy market, with a chip that allows solar panels to operate more efficiently. The company announced yesterday that will enter on the photovoltaic energy market with SolarMagic technology, which sustains the company, can recover up to 50% of energy losses caused by imperfect conditions that shadow and dirt.
“Our engineers have solved this problem encountered at the global level. The new technology facilitates the production of more energy in adverse conditions and may reduce investment with this friendly energy sources with the environment,” said National President, Brian L. Halla.
The company plans to collaborate with other companies in the following months.
“We noticed a reduction of 44% of losses in malevolent conditions and 12% overall, compared with systems that do not benefit from SolarMagic technology” said Tom McCalmot, president and executive director REgrid.
HP announced in June that will use its own technology based on a transparent transistor to focus solar panels, through a partnership with Xtreme Energetics.
