Hyundai announced that the car will enter on the market since July 2009, first in South Korea, and then gradually in the rest of the world. The hybrid will be based on the Elantra sedan. The engine that will “feed” with “GPL” will be of 1.6 litres, and the electric of 15 kilowatts.
will deliver only 103 grams of carbon at one kilometer. Lithiu-polymer batteries manufactured by LG Chem (one of the most important producers of batteries) will be used in the world premiere to this car.
These batteries of this type are much more efficient than lithiu-ion because they are made with lower costs, storage more energy, are more physical resistance and they can be recharged of more times than lithiu-ion.
Hyundai officials plan to mount this type of propulsion and to other models from its range of vehicles.
