In the eighth edition of the Guidelines for green electronics, published by Greenpeace, only Sony and Sony Ericsson have managed to collect more than 50% of the score composed on the basis of companies’ policies and practices regarding toxic chemicals and their withdrawal on the market, according to Greenpeace. Nintendo and Microsoft have remained behind according to the top made by the organization.

Apple has not advanced in the accumulation of points because Greenpeace said that it has not improved the environmental performance of the product or iPhone. Dell has gathered a few points, while Toshiba, Samsung and LGE have not marked any point and were almost zero at the criterion of climate change.
