Ferrari Makes Hybrid Models To Reduce Emissions

Ferrari joining to the auto manufacturers which reduce their emissions of greenhouse gas emissions through the construction of easier cars and through implementation of hybrid technologies, confirmed the company’s president Luca Cordero di Montezemolo for the german newspaper Welt am Sonntag.
Montezemolo said that Ferrari intends to reduce its carbon dioxide emissions by 40% starting from now until 2012. “At present, we work to developing a Ferrari car which use alternative energy sources,” revealed the company’s president. The first models will appear on the market no sooner than 2015.
Also to reduce emissions, future Ferrari cars will be equipped with smaller engine. EU intends to limit emissions from cars to 130 grams per kilometer since 2012.
