The World’s Biggest Eco-Aviation Fair

Pressed by the oil prices and allegations of pollution, operators from aviation industry have flap the green flag at the aviation fair from the English town Farnborough. The giants Airbus and Boeing have left behind the competition and supported together the sustainable aviation.

The world’s largest aviation fair was this year, full with huge posters that promoting air travel as the most green mode of transport.

The world’s biggest aircraft Airbus A380, was park behind of some posters which intimate that aircraft noise which Airbus says that is the most energy efficient aircraft in the world, is similar to the sound of birds or the noise made by a drop of water on a leaf.

The aviation industry is desperate to reduce the quantity of burned fuel. Efforts to reduce the environmental impact could give results consisting in an efficiency of 1-2% per year, while increasing the air traffic is estimated at 6% per year.

To compensate this difference, industry representatives said that the air traffic has economic and social benefits that justify its increase.
