Chrysler Launches its Electric Car in the Next 3-5 Years

Chrysler plans to launch electric cars in the next 3-5 years. Envi Unit, created by Chrysler in September last year, dealing with the development of cars that operate only powered by the battery a distance of 40 miles, announced Nick Cappa, Chrysler speaker.

“The company intends to hold a product on the market in the next 3-5 years,” Cappa said. Chrysler, which distantat of its rivals regarding the strategy for hybrids, works for a new generation of hybrid cars on lithium-ion battery that are easier and stow energy.

Also, General Motor Corp. and Toyota Motor Corp. are exceed in developing of hybrid vehicles, rechargeable with lithium-ion batteries. Chevy Volt electric car from GM is scheduled to enter in the production by 2010, while Toyota announced it will test a rechargeable version of the Prius in the same period.
