Australia’s First Neutral Resort In Terms Of Carbon

Hidden Valley Cabins is the first neutral resort in terms of carbon from Australia. The location is powered only by solar energy. Due to the use of solar energy, the resort economize 78 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year.

The location have and other friendly facilities, these are: fluorescent lamps, through which was reduced energy consumption from 2,220 to 430 watts , closing electrical appliances at night, waste minimization by composting food and paper products used in garden, recycling aluminium and paper, and educating tourists about the importance of being environment-friendly, energy efficiency, renewable energy or species conservation.

Also, the resort was built of wood and was not used steel structure. The surrounding vegetation consists of native plants and trees. In addition, the setting is complemented by the wonderful lay of local birds. Hidden Valley Cabins bought carbon certified and has received certification as being neutral in terms of carbon.
